Personal Backup in the Windows notification area
Left-clicking the icon in the Windows notification
area will display the schedule of the next automatic backup. Optionally, you can open
the program desktop window by clicking the Show desktop button.
Right-clicking the icon will cause a menu to appear:
- Personal Backup
- Open the program desktop window
- Start backups
- All - Start all tasks designated for automatic execution.
- 1 Persdat - Start the first task (with the name PersDat in
this example) designated for automatic execution.
- 2 .. - Start the second task ..
- ...
- Clicking on one of these menu items will open a dialog in which you can
optionally specify standby or hibernation to be performed after backup
(more info).
- Start restore ..
- The dialog window for restoring files
will be opened.
- Clean up ..
- The dialog window for deleting
files will be opened.
- Shutdown
- with backup, then power off - All backup tasks designated for execution
at logoff will be started, after which the computer will be shut down.
- with backup, then restart - All backup tasks designated for execution
at logoff will be started, after which the computer will be restarted.
- and power off - Shut down the computer without any backup.
- and restart - Restart the computer without any backup.
- Logoff
- with backup - Before logging off the user, all backup tasks designed
for execution at logoff will be started.
- without backup - Just log off the current user.
- View
- Log file - Open the the log window
- Version info - Pops up a window with Version and Copyright info.
- Quit Program
- Remove the Personal Backup icon from the notification area.
- Cancel
- Close the right-click menu without further action.
